I decided not to make too hasty a decision. I wanted to know a good job that I really wanted to do. I didn't feel rushed or delayed. "Goblin" was a story that would not exist in the world. So for the next job, I waited because I wanted to play a realistic story and an existing character. Then, "Secret Forest" writer Lee Soo-yeon made an offer, and without looking further, she replied that she would immediately.

It is a subject that is not often covered in dramas. However, writer Lee Soo-yeon's previous work dealt with "Corruption and Economic Cooperation" and "Corruption Prosecutor", but gave a tremendous sense of immersion thanks to the power of the genre called thriller. Isn't "Life" the same?

That's it. We have both been performing for almost 20 years and we haven't seen each other in so long. I never met him in real life, much less in a job. This time, I met Seung-woo Cho during the script reading, and by the time I started the line, he was like "Wow." He had the power to take over space. That is what I felt when reading the script. I also look forward to the "chemistry" with Seungwoo Jo.

It will probably be very different from what you have shown so far. Usually the male lead in a drama has a lot of character. If it were a medical drama, it would be something of a genius or a sense of justice. These characters do not appear in "Life". So, in fact, it can be said that all the characters that appear are main characters. It is the story of people trying to show their full potential within their stories and skills. This time, I try to bring a sense of reality to both the acting style and tone.
Doesn't your appearance seem to change?
There is no such thing. Last year I was still busy in my own way, but my weight didn't change much. I didn't really gain weight or lose any more weight. Trying to keep it as it is now. Coming home after filming? Are there regular customers in the neighborhood?
I usually go to a beer bar or a place where I can throw darts. Ah, on-screen baseball is fun these days. If I can afford it, I want to take the machine home. Then we have to remove all the furniture from our house (laughs).
